This Privacy Policy explains how MMC collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects information across all MMC Services.

Camera, Video, and Uploaded Media

Depending on the Service used, MMC may process:

Derived Motion and Computer Vision Data

Depending on the Services used, MMC may generate or process:

  • motion landmarks

  • body tracking information

  • recognition outputs

  • segmentation outputs

  • quality metrics

  • movement metrics

  • derived movement data

  • computer vision outputs

  • reports

  • analysis results

Communications

Information submitted through:

  • contact forms

  • demo requests

  • customer inquiries

2. Camera and Media Permissions

MMC only accesses camera or media functionality with user permission.

Users control when video capture or streaming begins.

3. How We Use Information

MMC may use information to:

  • provide Services

  • process motion and computer vision tasks

  • support research and development

  • improve models

  • improve system accuracy

  • troubleshoot issues

  • maintain security

  • communicate with users

  • support integrations and APIs

  • generate outputs and reports

Where permitted by applicable law, customer agreement, or user authorization, MMC may use processed, aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to:

  • improve Services

  • improve models

  • improve system performance

  • improve system accuracy

  • conduct internal research and development

  • validate platform functionality

  • support quality assurance

  • improve future versions of the services

Unless expressly authorized by an applicable customer agreement or other written authorization, MMC does not use raw customer videos gor generalized model training.

4. Data Retention

MMC may retain information for varying periods depending on the type of information, the Services being provided, customer agreements, operational requirements, legal obligations, security requirements, applicable retention settings, and legitimate business needs.

Different categories of information, including account information, uploaded media, derived analytics, reports, support records, logs, and security information, may be retained for different periods.

Certain demo or temporary processing data may be deleted automatically.

Where supported by the applicable Services or customer agreement, organizations may configure or request additional retention or deletion options.

Deletion requests remain subject to applicable legal obligations, contractual commitments, security requirements, backup procedures, technical limitations, and legitimate business purposes. Certain processed, aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information may continue to be retained where permitted by applicable law or agreement.

5. Research and Model Improvement

Where permitted by applicable law, customer agreement, or authorization, MMC may use processed, aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to:

  • improve Services

  • improve models

  • improve system performance

  • improve system accuracy

  • validate platform functionality

  • conduct internal research and development

MMC does not sell raw user videos.

Unless expressly authorized through an applicable customer agreement or written authorization, MMC does not use raw customer videos for generalized model training.

6. Sharing of Information

MMC may share information with trusted third-party service providers, contractors, infrastructure providers, cloud providers, research collaborators, analytics providers, payment providers, authentication providers, communications providers, customer support providers, or other service providers as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, or support the Services.

Where reasonably possible, shared information may be processed, aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized.

MMC does not sell personal information or raw customer videos.

7. AWS and Cloud Processing

MMC uses third-party cloud infrastructure and operational service providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), to host, process, transmit, secure, store, back up, and support information processed through the Services.

MMC may also utilize third-party providers for authentication, communications, analytics, monitoring, customer support, payment processing, and other operational functions as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

MMC may update its service providers from time to time as its Services evolve.

8. Security Measures

MMC uses commercially reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information.

However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. International Users

MMC may provide Services internationally.

By using the Services, users understand information may be processed in Canada or other jurisdictions where MMC or its providers operate.

9A. Organizational Accounts

Where Services are provided to organizations, universities, research institutions, healthcare providers, sports organizations, companies, government entities, or other legal entities, MMC may process information on behalf of those organizations pursuant to applicable customer agreements.

Such organizations may determine how certain project information is collected, managed, retained, exported, deleted, or otherwise processed.

Individuals participating in organization-managed projects should direct applicable privacy requests to the relevant organization where appropriate.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, customer agreements, and the nature of the Services being provided, users may request:

  • access to personal information

  • correction of inaccurate information

  • deletion of certain information

  • export of certain information

Requests may be submitted to MMC directly.

Certain requests relating to organization-managed projects may need to be directed to the applicable organization responsible for the project.

10A. Information for Users in the European Economic Area and UK

Where applicable, MMC processes personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

Depending on the circumstances, MMC may act as a data controller or as a data processor on behalf of organizational customers.

Where MMC processes information on behalf of customer organizations, those organizations may determine certain purposes and means of processing.

Individuals located within the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

11. Cookies and Analytics

MMC may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to:

  • improve Services

  • analyze traffic

  • understand usage

  • improve performance

  • remember user preferences

  • maintain security

  • support authentication

  • improve user experience

Where required by applicable law, MMC may request consent before placing certain cookies or similar technologies.

Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings or other mechanisms provided by MMC where applicable.

12. Children

MMC Services are not directed toward children where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

MMC may revise this Privacy Policy periodically.

Updated versions will be posted through MMC Services.
